It’s beautiful to look at the snow from our apartment. But getting from here to downtown is another matter. My office is closed but I’m behind on work so I need to go in. But with freezing rain, a steep hill and the possibility of no bus service, I may need to borrow someone’s sled.
I’m so giddy at the prospect of seeing a new Muppets movie. It brings about awesome childhood memories. I’m sure there are a ton of 30-something parents who are excited to share the experience with their kids.
It feels refreshing to kick it old school with the Muppets instead of watching computer animated cars and toys, don’t you think?

A couple weeks ago I discovered that the UW’s Evans School of Public Affairs was still accepting applications for the Executive MPA Program. I decided to apply because it appears to be a practical program that will jive with a full time job. I also like school and can’t get enough of academia.
I found out yesterday I was accepted. I’ll soon be a Husky once again, woof woof! Thank you to everyone who provided last minute letters of recommendation. That was key to my acceptance.
